Le Marche : Italy in one region!

Le Terre di Maluk is located NEAR FALCONARA AIRPORT, in the countryside of the province of Ancona, the regional capital, just 15 km from the sea and 50 km from the mountains. Situated in an area rich in natural, historical, artistic, and cultural attractions, our farmhouse makes it simple and pleasant to reach all areas of interest in the Marche region. The staff at Le Terre di Maluk will advise you on all the excursions you can take to the main places of interest in the region.

Falconara Marittima (AN)

Monte San Vito is a surprising town for its culture, industry, and beauty. An ancient Malatesta land, the gentle and enchanting hilly landscape close to the Adriatic Sea today offers pleasant tranquility, a unique panorama, and high-quality typical products: olive oil and Lacrima DOC wine.
Nearby Chiaravalle is known for its Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria in Castagnola: the first records of Chiaravalle date back to the 7th century AD but, as the city was founded upon the Abbey, its true historical roots date back to 1172, the year construction began on the current Abbey.

Hills, vineyards, and ancient villages:
Monte San Vito tells the story of the authentic beauty of the Marche

Just 10 km from the farmhouse is Jesi, the birthplace of Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, and a perfectly preserved medieval village with its towers and ancient walls, the Pergolesi Theater, the Civic Art Gallery, the Marche Region Wine Shop, and the Ripa Bianca Nature Reserve.
Le Terre di Maluk farmhouse is located about 20 km from Ancona, where you can visit the port with the Arch of Trajan and the Mole Vanvitelliana, the historic center with the Cathedral of St. Cyriacus, the Muse Theater, the Archaeological Museum, the Omero Museum, and Cardeto Park with its ancient Jewish cemetery.
The splendid Conero Riviera is easily reachable from Ancona (40 km from the farmhouse): the bay of Portonovo, the beaches of Numana and Sirolo, boat trips to the Due Sorelle rocks, Seagulls’ Beach, and Sassi Neri. Mount Conero is not to be missed for mountain biking and trekking enthusiasts, or simply for a pleasant trip “to the mountain.”

Ancona tells of its bond with the sea: from the Passetto to the historic center

Among the places of interest near the Conero Riviera, we mention Recanati (50 km away), the birthplace of Giacomo Leopardi and Beniamino Gigli, to whom the namesake museums are dedicated, and Loreto (42 km away) with the Marian Sanctuary of the Basilica of the Holy House, a pilgrimage destination for thousands of faithful.
For fans of medieval villages, we also recommend Offagna (23 km away), where medieval festivals with a rich program of attractions take place during the summer.

The Frasassi Caves in San Vittore di Genga (50 km away) are an absolute must-see, a true spectacle of nature, along with nearby Fabriano, where you can visit the Paper Museum and the Civic Art Gallery.
